Tanzania

Tanzania lies just south of the equator and is bordered by Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. To the east lies the Indian Ocean. This vast country is home to one of the largest concentrations of animals which includes 420 species and subspecies of mammals and over 1000 species of birds and 1400 species of butterfly. Parts of its coast and waters are preserved as marine parks and nearly a quarter of the country is protected by National Parks, conservation areas and reserves.

One of the greatest sights of the world takes place at Serengeti NationalPark with the migration of some 2 million beasts closely followed by their Predators. The largest and deepest lakes of Africa namely Malawi and Tanganyika lie on the western side of Tanzania.

These lakes are home to hundreds of species of unique fish. Lake Natron is the breeding place of Africa’s flamingoes. The vast plains of Serengeti. The pink mass of flamingoes at Ngorongoro. Boating on the Rufiji passing crocodiles and hippo. Tracking chimpanzee. Diving in the clear blue waters of The Indian Ocean.

ALL THIS IS TANZANIA
