This small park of 137 sq. km is close to the town of Arusha. Animals which might be seen are Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Hippo, Warthog and Dik Dik. The park is also home to many species of birds. The park is also home of The Great Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater and Meru Crater. |

This small park by African standards of 325 sq. km is one of the most beautiful. Its western border is the Great Rift Valley Escarpment with Lake Manyara forming its eastern border. Vast concentrations of wildlife live in this narrow corridor which ranges from forests of tamarind, mahogany and fig in the north, to flat wide grassland in the centre.
